invisible_ai: (if we can't fly through the sky -- relax)

The past few days have been interesting, to say the least. The rain has passed on, and the time spent at the hospital is starting to become a old memory. I guess I should be a little thankful for the latter.

At the same time, it seems as if the city is becoming more alive. I have noticed a number of new voices and faces lately, even if it seems the tragedy of the disappearances of others is still occuring.
I am concerned. I would not wish to disappear one day, leaving my partner alone to fend for himself. It is not so troubling now that his abilities have been restored, but I still have my own reasons for not wanting to leave his side. I hope that one day we are able to find a few answers within this mystery, with or without the help of those ominous scientists.

It also seems that Sai is keeping something from me. It doesn't look as if it is anything too serious, but I wonder what is going on.

Oh, and before I forget... A young man was asking whether any of the monsters found around here are edible. I do not have a lot of faith in that myself, but I must admit that I am curious.
Besides, it feels like it has been some time since I cooked anything interesting lately. I might like to experiment a bit.

I am not sure if Sai has spoken with you about this, but there are plans for the two of us to move to a new apartment soon. I would like to thank you for offering the two of us shelter and being a gracious host during our stay, Luxord.
I am eagerly awaiting the next time I might be able to accept a challenge from you again.

There are funny colored cows, tonberrys are chewy and show up in twos or threes...and I hear from Killer you can eat the big bats that hang out in the ruined building rafters.

So there really are cows here? How unexpected. And can you give me an idea of what the Tonberrys look like?

I'm not so sure about the bats... Creatures of that type are usually hard to catch, and personally, it makes my stomach turn a little to think of ever eating one.

Thank you for the information.

They're wild cows, of course. And...crazy. They'll rush you if you're not careful.

Tonberrys are short, maybe 3 feet tallest, they're green lizards, they usually are dressed in a sorta...sack looking thing, burlap I think it's called? (You can just make it into a bag to carry it in, once it's dead, if you tie off the end good.) They usually carry lanterns if it's night out and a big knife. They're dead accurate with those things, so take care, and don't get surrounded if you go hunting.

No problem! Lessons hard learned, I don't mind sharing.

I should have known. Still, at least it is something I can recognize.

Aaah, so I see. Thank you for providing the description, and I'll remember to take your advice.

Does that mean you have hunted them before? You must be skilled.
May I have your name? You can call me Ai.

Yeah, I've been hunting with a few other trusted friends since...oh, way back when I first got here. Fresh meat's important, you know. We're pretty good. We hunt near dusk usually, when it's cooler out.

I'm Prydain. I live over on Gohl.

Those are some good survival qualities to have, particularly in a place like this. You seem pretty adept at keeping yourself safe from harm, but I will ask you to continue looking out for yourself. I'd hate to see something happen to you.

Prydain, I see... It is good to meet you. You may call me Ai.
